Today we continued discussing the structure of the passe compose, the past tense, for regular verbs. We went over pages 332-333. We did exercise 11 on page 333, and added the 6 passe compose forms for -er, ir-, and -re verbs to the verb chart.

We reviewed the quidditch article vocab and translations, then went over the structure of the passe compose (past tense). Then we played a pictionary game for our weekend conversation.

Then we took time to practice the conditional tense, filling in the verb chart. The conditional forms are explained on page 214, and the irregular stems are listed on page 214 and 216.

Today we listened to some music then went over the homework, handout pages 25-26. Then we practiced using -re verbs in negative and interrogative sentences (pages 27-29). Then, students had a choice of activity: either complete Mastery exercises F, G, H, I, J, K on handouts, or the verb charts for regular verbs on a handout and write an -re verb chant/song. All pages will be du on Monday.
