Thursday and Friday we reviewed for the final. Thursday, review assessments were due. They were returned Friday if they had been handed in on time. Students should use them as well as vocabulary lists and former tests to study. Students should bring textbooks the day of the final to return. Bonne chance!

We started the final reviewing by taking a review assessment. Scores on the assessment will dictate what topics students must review. Students will spend classtime Wednesday and Thursday working on corrections and notes. Speaking assessments will start tomorrow.
All late work must be turned in by June 11.

We started the final review. Every student has a revision packet to complete and turn in with the verb chart or verbs on a separate piece of paper. Students will spend classtime Wednesday and Thursday completing the revision and then focusing on review topics of their choice.

Today we completed discussion of the reflexive verbs. We reviewed the story of Romeo et Juliet & the workbook pages. We talked about the reflexive verbs in the passe compose (page 413) and completed workbook pages 124#13 and 125#14 & #15 together. Then we talked about the final exam. We went over the French 1 summary and preparation guide, and students completed a self-assessment. Tomorrow we will do a practice test/review assessment that will dictate the review activities. French 1 finals will be Monday 6/14 (per 1), Tuesday 6/15 (per 3) and Wednesday 6/16 (per 5 & 6). The bell schedule is on the PCFC home page http://www.pc.issaquah.wednet.edu/.

Today we practiced verbs in the passe compose. We played a game then discussed the final exam. We went over the French 1 summary and preparation guide, and students completed a self-assessment. Tomorrow we will start review packet. The French 2 final will be Tuesday, 6/16 (per 4).

Today we went over the pink handout with reflexive verbs and passe compose and turned in. Then, students read a shortened French version of Romeo & Juliet. You must define the underlined words and write the infinitive for each verb, and then translate the story on the back. What wasn't completed in class must be finished for Monday.

Today we talked about reflexive verbs. We started with 10 minutes of lecture libre then turned in Reading Logs for the year. Homework for the weekend was turned in. Then, we reviewed the meaning of reflexive verbs and did some practice. We recorded forms for "se laver" and "s
appeler" on the verb chart (see page 408) and reviewed the words on page 400-401. Practice is on a pink handout.
