Today we reviewed forms of aller and talked about uses--how to say where one is going (page 166) and what one is going to do (page 165). We did book page 167 # 23 and workbook page 49 #14, 15.

Homework: book page 165 #19, write 5 things you will do tonight (ce soir) on a piece of paper to turn in. Periods 3, 5, 6, add 5 additional sentences

Today we continued to talk about the imparfait tense. We worked in book page 76, writing answers and translating meaning.
Then, we did an activity to talk about Les Premiers Nations du Quebec.
Devoir: answer the following questions on the back of the amerindien vocab sheet

2.Comment est-ce qu’ils se déplaçaient ?
3.Où habitaient-ils ?
4.Qu’est-ce qu’ils portaient?

French 1 classes did a Thanksgiving activity. We learned words pertaining to Amerindiens and played a game.

francais 2
French 2 retook the vocabulary quiz on ch 3 and worked on the imparfait --read page 74 and practice form using handout.
No devoir for the break.

Today groups performed their restaurant skits.
If you are not part of a group or didn't perform, you will need to prepare a dialogue individually. Students will not be expected to perform alone in front of the class, but you must make arrangements to come in before or after school to speak with the teacher.

periods 1, 3, and 5 discussed the verb aller, page 162

devoir: complete activite de vocabulaire (word ladder, flashcards, drawings or sentences) by Monday, 30 novembre.

Then, we did an activity d'écoute to practice for tomorrow’s quiz.
Then, we started talking about the “imparfait” past tense.

Today we practiced pronunciation of “r” (page 171 in book) and speaking. We started the chapter 5 project, a skit that will be done in small groups and performed in class on Tuesday. Rubrics available in class.
Snoopy dialogues were turned in.

Today we practiced verb conjugations and turned in the passé composé packet.
We started chapter 3 activité de vocabulaire.
Everyone should use computer vocab in sentences, describing to someone how to use un ordinateur (a computer). All other words can be activity of choice: four fold, flashcards, drawings, definitions, or story.

Se sentir is a reflexive verb conjugated like other irregular –ir verbs:

Today we practiced writing about sicknesses and turned in “monsters” with symptoms.
Then, we added the verbs souffrir and ouvrir to the verb sheet. They are on page 44 of the textbook. We then did a 10 minute timed-write that was turned in. The rest of the period was spent on the passé compose packet and oral assessments.
