Today we reviewed the six forms of être and the eight pronouns, and how to make them negative with ne and pas.

tu es tu n’es pas
il est il n’est pas
elle est elle n’est pas
nous sommes nous ne sommes pas
vous êtes vous n’êtes pas
ils sont ils ne sont pas
elles sont elles ne sont pas

We then talked about the differences between the informal you “tu” and the formal you “vous.” See page 64 in the textbook.

Devoir (homework): make two columns in your cahier, tu and vous, and list 5 people you know that you would address as each.
